Megan joined Kane, Pugh, Knoell, Troy & Kramer LLP upon graduation from Rutgers Law School.  Megan focuses her practice in defense litigation.

Megan is a graduate of Seattle University with a B.A. in Economics with a concentration in international development, as well as a B.A. in International Business. As an undergraduate, she interned with a well-known financial advising firm.  While there, she assisted numerous offices in navigating new compliance regulations and Department of Labor rulings. During her time at Rutgers Law, Megan led the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, a nationwide pro bono program which helps low-income people in the community file taxes with the assistance of those who know the tax system. Upon her graduation from Rutgers Law, she received an award for her dedication to pro-bono work, the Dean’s Pro-Bono Publico Award for Exceptional Service.

While at Rutgers Law, Megan worked as a trial intern with the Securities Exchange Commission, supporting trial strategy and researching new damages tactics.  In addition to the SEC, Megan worked at a plaintiff’s firm evaluating whether claims had trial value versus those that should be settlement focused. Her experience from a plaintiff perspective gave her insight on how plaintiffs’ strategize and negotiate. Megan will work smart to get the outcome that best fits her client’s needs.

While Megan was not Pennsylvania born and bred, she has found a home just outside of Philadelphia and even formed an opinion on the best cheesesteak, (Dalessandro’s). If Megan isn’t working, she can be found watching sports, attending a concert, or traveling to spend time with her family and friends.
