Kate began her law career in 2010 after spending six years working in stroke and brain injury research with several of the Philadelphia area’s foremost rehabilitation and research institutes. Since joining Kane Pugh in 2014, Kate has concentrated her legal practice on medical malpractice defense and general liability defense, including dram shop litigation, premises liability, products liability, construction accidents, and transportation law.

Kate is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Middle District of Pennsylvania, and Western District of Pennsylvania. She has argued before Superior Court of Pennsylvania and has represented clients in federal and state court. Kate’s practice has led her to defend individuals and institutions in Philadelphia County, Montgomery County, Bradford County, Bucks County, Chester County, Columbia County, Delaware County, Northampton County, Lackawanna County, and Lancaster County.

Kate graduated summa cum laude from Saint Joseph’s University in 2001 with a B.S in psychology and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In 2002, she received her M.S. in experimental psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology. Kate earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2010. An evening division student, Kate maintained full-time employment throughout her law school career. Prior to joining Kane Pugh, Kate was an associate at a boutique medical malpractice law firm in Philadelphia..

Kate lives in Springfield Township Montgomery County with her husband and triplet sons. She serves as president of the Springfield Township Library Advisory Committee and is a board member of the Ambler Station Singers.
