Amanda, “Mandy”, is an Associate Attorney with Kane, Pugh, Knoell, Troy & Kramer LLP. Mandy’s practice primarily focuses on defending civil litigation cases in the areas of general and professional liability. Prior to joining our firm, Mandy previously worked as an Associate Attorney where her practice focused on first-party insurance defense, extra-contractual matters, corporate litigation defense, landlord-tenant disputes, business administration, and municipal law.
Mandy is a graduate of Penn State Dickinson School of Law. During her time at law school, she was a member of the Corpus Juris Society, the Women’s Law Caucus, and the Business Law Society. Mandy was also a Law Lion Ambassador in which she enjoyed mentoring incoming law students. She also received CALI Awards (top of her class) for Administrative Law, Corporate Finance, and Gender & Sexuality Law. During law school, Mandy interned with both the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. During these internships, Mandy was able to gain litigation experience ranging from environmental law to tort law.
Prior to law school, Mandy graduated Summa Cum Laude from California University of Pennsylvania, or “PennWest California”. As an undergraduate, Mandy was the Captain of the ACHA Women’s Ice Hockey team and the first women President of the Ice Hockey Club. Mandy was also a member of Phi Sigma Sigma, Alpha Lambda Delta, the Criminal Justice Society, and the Mock Trial Team. Mandy gained significant experience by becoming the President of the Mock Trial Team and participating in oral argument tournaments during her time as an undergraduate.
Mandy is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the United States District Courts for the Middle District and Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She is an active member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations. While originally from the Pittsburgh area, Mandy now lives in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania with her husband. In her free time, Mandy enjoys playing ice hockey at her local rink, hiking, camping, cheering for her hometown Pittsburgh sports teams, and spending time with her dog Louie.
